Reiki
What it is?
Reiki is a safe holistic therapy that treats the whole body, mind and spirit.
This gentle treatment can be used alongside existing therapies or other medical treatments. Reiki is suitable for adults, children, mothers to be, babies and animals.

Reiki helps to release tension and stress, improve sleep, improve mood, improve relaxation and increase
well-being.

Reiki has roots in Japan, founded by dr Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. The Japanese word Reiki means ‘’universal life force energy’’, essential for all leaving being.
How it works?
The Reiki Practitioner places their hands gently on or over the body and emits natural electro-magnetic energy, which flows to all organs and parts of the body. There is no massage or manipulation involved during the treatment.

Reiki works on an individual basis that is why everyone has a different experience and it can vary from treatment to treatment. Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness or nothing at all.
The Reiki Practitioner cannot diagnose and does not heal, but Reiki is promoting the body’s natural self-healing process. The result is deep relaxation and an overall sense of balance and well-being.
What to expect?
During the first Reiki session, I will take a short medical history. Reiki is performed with the client lying down or sitting in the chair, in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials. The typical Reiki session lasts 60 minutes with 45 minutes of treatment. Depending on the reasons for you having Reiki, a course of several sessions might be recommended.
Distance Reiki are available too. I will call you via Messenger, Skype or Zoom.
