What it is?
Reflexology is a safe complementary therapy which treats people not conditions.

Reflexology is very relaxing and enjoyable and can be used alongside existing therapies or medical treatments.
It can be done on feet, hands, face or ears.

Reflexology promotes the release of tension, improves sleep, improves mood, aids relaxation and increases
well-being.

Reflexology can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children through to the elderly.
How it works?
There are over 7,000 nerve endings in each foot which are worked on during the Reflexology treatment.

Gentle pressure is applied with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques to stimulate reflex points on the feet (hands, face and ears) which correspond to all organs and parts of the body.
Reflexology works on an individual basis that is why everyone has a different experience and it can vary from treatment to treatment.

Reflexologist cannot diagnose and Reflexology does not heal, but it is promoting the body’s natural healing process. The result is deep relaxation and an overall sense of balance and well-being.
What to expect?
During the first Reflexology session (which is usually longer), I will take a detailed medical history, as well as lifestyle and health details.
Treatments are performed in a comfortable chair or couch. The client will stay fully dressed and will be asked to remove footwear and socks for foot reflexology. I will make a visual and tactile examination of the area to be worked on before beginning the treatment.

The typical Reflexology session lasts 60 minutes with 45 minutes of treatment. Depending on the reasons for you having Reflexology, a course of several sessions might be recommended. At every Reflexology session, an individual treatment plan is prepared with lifestyle advice, diet and relaxation.
